Free, as is

All tests on this site are free. They are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. The readings depend on your browser, operating system, drivers and the controller itself; a result on this site is a diagnostic aid, not a certificate of the controller's condition.

What the results mean

The tests report what the browser receives from the controller. A fault shown here is usually real, but a controller can also pass here and still fail in a particular game because of that game's settings or an input layer such as Steam Input. The site is not responsible for purchasing, warranty or repair decisions made on the basis of a test.

Acceptable use

You may use the tests for personal and commercial diagnosis without limit. You may link to any page. You may not copy the site's text, diagrams or code and present them as your own, scrape the site automatically, or try to disrupt it.

Content and accuracy

Guides on this site describe controllers and browsers as of the date shown on each page. Manufacturers change firmware and browsers change their Gamepad API support, so some details will become outdated. Corrections are welcome at [email protected].

These terms may change. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
