Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Controller Tester handles when you use the site.

Controller input

Every test reads your controller through the browser's Gamepad API and draws the values on screen. Button states, stick positions, timing measurements and test results are processed in your browser only. They are not sent to any server, not stored in your browser beyond the current page, and are discarded when you close or reload the tab.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, which countries and devices they come from, and roughly how long they stay. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address and browser details on Google's servers according to Google's own privacy policy. We see only aggregated reports and do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

You can block analytics with a browser extension, by refusing cookies, or by using your browser's tracking-protection settings; the tests work the same either way.

Server logs

The hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs (requested URL, time, IP address, browser string) for a limited period to keep the site running and to detect abuse.

Cookies

Apart from the Google Analytics cookies described above, the site sets no cookies of its own. It does not use advertising cookies at present. If advertising is added later, this page will be updated first.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because the site itself stores nothing about you, requests usually concern Google Analytics; write to [email protected] and we will help.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the site changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
